Captain Festus McBoyles Travelling Variety Show @ LEIGH SAWMILL CAFE
Jan 10 @ 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Captain Festus McBoyle and his motley crew have been successfully infecting NZ for over 6 years.
Armed with cheeky humour and side splitting songs, this Madcap Troupe is more fun than a squirrel up ya’ jumper! Complete with trusty wife Miss Lucy Drawers, Ships rat Mr Cheese and strongman extraordinaire ‘The Great Ebeneza ’, the Captain offers a 1st class voyage into his weird and wonderful world.

Regularly compared to Monty Python, Spike Milligan and Benny Hill, this clever Vaudeville ensemble is a must see.
Flaunting Pantomime and Music hall origins, this lot manage to transcend both age and culture with ease. Family entertainment at its best……..Musical comedy at its finest……The Ultimate rotten entertainers!

Round the Horn w Hopetoun Brown and Finn Scholes @ LEIGH SAWMILL CAFE
Jan 12 @ 9:30 pm – 11:45 pm

Hopetoun Brown and the genius of Finn Scholes set sail for an ambitious tour of the Hauraki Gulf Islands aboard a wooden double-ended ketch!

Leigh Sawmill represents the North Island stop and locals will marvel and point as Ponsonby’s finest brass players row ashore in a tiny dinghy brimmed full of tubas, trombones, saxophones and a giant clarinet.
Dance the night away as this hot-forged trio parp and stomp into the warm summer evening. Sing along as Finn fires up the Leigh Sawmill grand piano while Tim and Nick go blue in the face blowing into their antique wind instruments!
We’re looking forward to this one!!
